Florida’s architects and interior designers are responsible for shaping our built environment with great talent, innovation, and creativity. As a member of that group, you are invited to participate and be published in Florida 100, a new hardcover book that will spotlight a select group of architects and interior designers.
This 250+ page, 11” by 11” book will be edited by the publishers of the South Florida Design Book Magazine with a foreword by Beth Dunlop, editor-in-chief of HOME Miami Magazine. Beth Dunlop is also the author of numerous books on architecture and is the contributing architecture critic of The Miami Herald.
Entries for the Florida 100 are now being accepted for review. Interested designers should visit www.florida100book.com to view a sample chapter and additional details.
This book is slated for release in mid 2010, however, immediate submissions are required. Once all the chapters have been assigned, the submittal window will close. Florida 100 will be available for purchase nationally. To provide additional exposure for the featured designers, 1000 copies will be sent to top developers in the country.
Individuals and firms are encouraged to enter. Built and unbuilt work is equally eligible for inclusion as long as it passes editorial review.
We have a limited selection of architecture books at a reasonable price. Call the AIA Miami Chapter for information at 305.448.7488.
